Show Your SLAH Style Party--Part 2 My Kitchen

This is part 2 of 3 (maybe 4) for my participation in "Show Your SLAH Style Party". I love Southern Living at HOME products, so I decided to add another post or two on the ways I've used SLAH stuff in my home. To see some other great ideas, check out Southern Fried Gal's blog.

SLAH products are not just for the kitchen, but here are some pictures of items I have on display in my kitchen. In this first picture you will see some items that I put on top of my cabinets. A couple of the pieces are retired items (the candlesticks and the Brimfield tray), but the platter in front is from the Gail Pittman Hand Painted Pottery Collection in Siena.
Next is a picture of the Ultimate Message Center, which is part corkboard and part magnetized chalkboard. Above the UMC I put the Manchester Trivet Trio (I can easily take them down off the wall when I need a trivet and then put them right back when I'm finished with them). Hanging from the hooks on the UMC are two Hand-Painted Cafe Mugs in Siena.
I have hung the Hand-Painted Trivets in Siena on the wall underneath my cabinets. One of the Rosedale Plant Holders is being used to hold mail/bills and on the right is the Carriage House Lantern.
This last picture is of the Elegant Barley Twist Pedestal (It was my very first SLAH purchase several years ago and I still love it!), which has an accent plate from the Verde Collection on it. Then, on top of the accent plate is the Tall Glass Dome. Ideally, there would be some cookies or brownies or something like that underneath the dome, but I'm trying not to eat so much of that kind of stuff so it's empty.

I hope you enjoyed the SLAH tour of my kitchen. Next post: Dining Room
